I love martial are and I think it’s a superpower for kids. One of my careers was in fighting and as a lifetime martial artists I know how positive it can be for the young and old. One of the things I enjoy most is connecting with the younger generations. Seeing their minds work while I teach them self defense is fascinating. Every young mind should learn how to defend themselves in this day and age ultimately giving them confidence and making them bully proof. Give them body awareness, strength, balance, community, discipline, and most of all fun. You don’t get to choose when or where bad things happen, but you can choose to be prepared. The importance of preparing your kids for any situation should be a top priority. As parents we need to take that step for not only our kids but ourselves. The inauguration weekend ruck was incredible. We walked from the World War I Memorial to the World War II Memorial, World War II Memorial to the Vietnam Memorial. Stopping to pray for this country and thanking God for all those who have stepped up to serve and gave the ultimate sacrifice and asking for blessings for their families.
